Hughes Brook is proud to be the newest member of the Stewardship Association of Municipalities (SAM), joining communities across Newfoundland and Labrador that care for important wildlife habitat.

SAM supports habitat conservation, environmental education, restoration and community stewardship. Our brook, forested hills and natural surroundings are part of what makes Hughes Brook special.

SAM has expressed interest in hosting its next regional meeting here in Hughes Brook. We look forward to sharing more information when arrangements and a date are confirmed.

Residents can help by keeping litter out of waterways, respecting wildlife and enjoying natural areas responsibly. Learn more at www.samnl.org.
